On January 11, 2005, while speaking with James Lipton on “Inside the Actors Studio”, Tom Cruise was asked the question, “What is the one job that you would not like to have?” Cruise answered, “A psychiatrist”.

Then, on June 24, 2005, while speaking with Matt Lauer on the Today Show, state, “You don’t know the history of psychiatry, I do.”

In a short five months Cruise has completely switched his view point and obviously felt he learned enough about pyschiatry to make his blanket statement to Lauer that he knows the history of psychology.

Goes to show, if you have people telling you 24 hours a day how smart you are… you will start believing it too after a while.
