Finding a Non Profit Organization(0) I was recently looking to help out my community and look for volunteer work near my house. I didn’t know what there was to offer, so I started googling – Florida Non Profit Organizations. I found this website called NonProfitList.org. Luckily they had Florida non profits on there as this is all it seems that the website offers. I found a list of non profit organization with phone numbers in my area. I did not find anything I really needed, but will check back to see any updates they may have. |

Getting the Flu On Airplanes(0) I recently came back from a trip where the people on both sides of me were coughing their heads off. The phlegm was flying. I tried my best not to breathe in after a sneeze (I saw one time on the Discovery Channel where they showed the particles in the air after a sneeze in an elevator. Disgusting!), but I found out later it did not matter. I arrived at my destination after a few hours with this crew. The next day I woke up OK, just a little sore. Within 24 hours I was really work and starting to get very tired. Within 48 hours I was all stuffed up and exhausted. I had 1 week vacation and was sick as a dog for the most part. I even had to get an out of network doctor to see me and prescribe multiple medications. I had bronchitis at this point. 2 weeks later and I am finally feeling better while back at work in the office. I do not know any way to prevent this, but this was a terrible inconvenience. I did find this website for flu hot spots US Flu Map, but a lot of good it did for me contracting this on the plane. People on the plane were from all over. Maybe next vacation I will either stay home or go on a shorter trip. |

Blogosphere Attracts the Young at Heart(0)
A couple of people pushing 100 (and more!) are sharing their life experiences in the cyberspace. Call it a sign of the times. There is one of them who has captured the attention and, why not the affection of people from all ages and all walks of life around the world. She has been dubbed one of the most famous bloggers. Spain-native Maria Amelia Lopez has amassed more than 60,000 readers, since she started blogging in December 2006. “No one pays any attention to old women any more. Not many people love us. But I was surprised by the Internet, because young people who were 18 years of age, or 14 or 15, tell me about their lives and what they think and ask my advice,” Lopez told Reuters. The blog was a gift given to Lopez by her grandson Daniel on her 95th birthday. Because of her cataracts, Daniel takes her dictation when she blogs. “I am enamored of this equipment,” she said in Spanish during a TV interview. “I have a passion for the Internet. I am engaged. You can know all that happens around the world.” |

Face Transplant Woman Pictures Released(0)
Have you seen the new footage of the face transplant french woman? Today there is video footage available with this woman. She has been through a terrible ordeal and I only wish her the best. One of the top new searches on the internet today is for the pictures of her face before the operation. These pictures of her face before surgery have not appeared yet online, but I am sure it is only a matter of time. Let’s hope that the trauma of the internet publicity will not exacerbate the trauma she went through of being bitten by a dog and having this surgery. |

Yahoo Answers(0) If you are looking for answers to some odd and/or unusual questions, you have to try out Yahoo Answers. It is a new beta project offerred by Yahoo. They have it categorized by sections such as Home & Garden, Pets, Consumer Electronics, etc. I have already used it to find some information on cleaning a carpet. I received 5 responses in a matter of hours and we helped with information that I would otherwise had difficulty finding information on how to accomplish. What is even better is that it is for free. Google has Google Answers but they charge $2.50 for answer and up. It looks like Yahoo figured out a way to trump Google on this one. Hmmm, it seems to me that Yahoo is now playing the same game that Google has done to it many times. Yahoo had created an idea, and Google made it better. It is pleasing to see the reverse sometimes. Especially after Google has gotten all the attention for everything Internet these days. |

Coworker Stories(0) Working in many places I have built up a long list of funny coworker stories. When taking breaks while at work, this is also always a hot topic. Stories of instances where you worked with people who did such crazy things that you didn’t believe. That is why I just started this new website, http://www.coworkerstories.com. It is an open forum for people to read and put down funny things that happened while working with others. |

Submit Aricle – Article Submission For Free(0) Jan 6, 2006 Boca Raton, FL — Searching the internet we found many resources for free article submissions. Having articles that publicize your business are becoming the top new choice for SEO (Search Engine Optimization). We researched many of these article submission websites and found that they are not necessarily always free as they state. They offer many so called ‘extras’ to have your article submitted more quickly. They also charge for positioning on their websites. In our book, this does not constitute FREE. Especially when the non free products provide close to nothing. The article gets submitted so deep in to the website that robots from these search engines do not oftentimes even index these pages. Here are the sites that we can recommend for article submission: 1. OpenPressRoom.com – Yes this is the website where you are right now. We developed it based on using these so called free website. OpenPressRoom.com is free. We also offer the ability for you to enter your own Google Adsense id to make money on people visiting your article page. 2. PRWEB.com. Prweb is one of those websites that do charge extra. But, you do not have to pay them to still have your article submitted and show up in search engines. 3. Rexarticles.com. They are slow, but they do put your article up. Do not pay extra for any of their services as your article still does get submitted. If you have any ideas for more pages or would like to make a comment to us regarding this article, please go to the CONTACT US page and let us know how you feel. Thanks, Todd |

New Porsche Cayman(0)
The much awaited Porsche Cayman is now available at Porsche dealerships nationwide. Demand is expected to be strong. We recently took the Cayman for a test drive at Champion Motors in Ft Lauderdale. Here are our opinions. The Cayman handles just as well as the 911 and Boxster. This is no surprise as the car is very similar looking to the Boxster. It does look a lot like the Boxster but with a hard top. After driving the Boxter, 911 and they Cayman. You can see how it fits between the two other levels of Porsche roadsters. The acceleration with the Cayman felt about the same level as the Boxter S. It still is not as fast as the 911, but it is very fun to drive. The interior of the Cayman is pretty much the same as the Boxster. We didn’t notice much of a difference. Overall, we liked the Cayman a lot. As most Porsche’s we expect sales to be brisk and complement their current list of high performance cars. |
