I recently put in a swimming pool on my property in South Florida. I did not find out until later that my home, which was homesteaded, now had an almost double in my tax bill. I have literally screwed myself for putting in a pool.

After purchasing our home prior to the recent rise in real estate, the state of Florida allows home owners to put in for a homestead exemption. This means that if you live in your house, the most the city can raise your property taxes is 3% a year.

My assessed home value was $185,000 dollars. I now put in a pool for $30,000. I realized that I would have an increase in my home value $30,000 for the upgrade. What I did not know was that this opened the door for the city to completely reassess my entire home value! What this means is that my house now is assessed for $380,000. This is the cost of the house being assessed at current values and the pool.

This is completely wrong and should be looked at again. My taxes have now almost doubled. What homeowner can afford this?

Delta may be a different story. They are much larger than any of the other carriers that went bankrupt. Also, anything can happen when a company claims bankrutcy. Thing of all of the money that Delta would save by not paying Skymiles.

Researching other options for Skymiles users, I find that there are not many. You can try to sell them on Ebay. This is not too good an idea as I have seen auctions for 30000 Skymiles going for only $100 (one hundred dollars).

You can also log in to the Delta Skymiles website and purchase magazines. The list of magazines is not too extensive, but at least you will get something for you money.

Police have recently been cracking down on Massage Parlors due to the supposed right wing we have in the current white house.

Yet, if you go to any military base in the United States, you see massage parlors littered all over the place.

This just shows the double standard this country has. They say one thing and do something else.

Is it not true that these massage parlors would be out of business if they didn’t have any clientele? What a bunch of hipocrites there are in this country.

I have often thought of sitting out in front of these brothels to film all the politicians and supposed family men that frequent these places. I would then send this film to their constituents and family.

The Google sandbox has been prevailant now for over a year. I have had all of my old websites in the sandbox. On top of that, all of my new websites are in the sandbox also.

Just to let you know, I am pure white hat SEO. I do not believe in black hat.

The question remains, how to get listed in Google these days.

I still see websites that violate penalties. I also see websites that spam and buy links at the top of the SERPs.

Contacting Google has proven useless. They send canned responses that my websites are not banned in their system. Googlebot comes to my websites almost daily indexing my pages. Why would they index pages but not make them searchable?

I would like to just ignore Google, but they have become so strong and big, I do not have the luxury.

If you are looking to promote your website, I have found that one of the top methods is through Pay Per Click programs. The top two are provided by the leaders in the search business, Yahoo Search and Google.

There are also many third tier programs that I have tried and found that they do not produce. They send unqualified traffic. The money spent on these programs is less and created an initial draw to me. But in the end, it was money thrown away.

With Overture I have had my best results. I generally obtain a two percent conversion rate for products.

Here are some quick tips for Overture:
1. Never bid number 1.
2. Find niche terms that are not being exploited.
3. Track everything. Overture offers good tools for this. I still use my own tools for tracking to avoid providing them with too much of my data.
4. Constantly test. See what is working and what isn’t working.

Using the above tips, you should be well on your way to making good conversions.
